What does my camper need to bring each day?

Campers need to bring swim gear and towels on swim days (Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday). We supply all sports and safety equipment.  Younger children should have a complete change of clothing to be kept at camp.

MARK CLOTHING: Clothing, especially outerwear, should be marked with your child’s name.

What should my child wear at camp?

The wearing of a CGI T-shirt during camp days is mandatory. We provide two free T-shirts for every camper. Additional camp shirts are available for purchase at $10 per shirt.  We suggest purchasing an additional 2-3 shirts.

Other clothing items should be comfortable, washable and appropriate for camp activities.  For safety, children must wear appropriate shoes. No slides or flip-flops allowed. Croc-style shoes are not appropriate for athletic activities.

Are we obligated to give a tip or gift to our child's counselor?

At CGI we encourage parents to tip the counselors, but this is not obligatory.  Showing your appreciation is one of many factors that helps us to retain the very best counselors for future years. Your child/ren's counselor/s will be very appreciative if you choose to give them a gift or tip.
