Welcome! Join us for Services at Chabad of Pittsburgh, where the prayers are warm, the people are friendly and where everyone feels at home.
Whether your background in Jewish prayer and practice is extensive or limited, the services will leave you feeling enriched, connected, uplifted and energized to start your New Year in the most meaningful way.
Prayers
Many of the prayers are recited by the congregation in unison, specifically in English, so that everyone can participate. Hebrew/English prayer books are used throughout the service. Rabbi Altein provides an English running commentary of explanatory and meaningful insights.
Children Services
A Children’s Service for ages 2-6 and 7-11 will be held during the morning services beginning at 10:30am, the services will be led by our special staff. Children enjoy a program with Jewish songs and stories, games with Jewish themes, and a taste of special holiday treats.
